Education enables us to discriminate between Right and Wrong and develops our values, strengthens our character and makes us socially efficient.
Education teaches us "to be", "to become", and "to live".
This is how it Empowers.

But what about the other areas of a woman/girl's life that have to be factored into this. girls in vocational schools have education yet they still bear the brunt of society for trying to be men. Surprising enough in my research I realized for the men to accept the girls in these technical school they had to discard their femininity. the girls too agreed that they didn't have time to be girls, the boys can court them out of the class room, but they have to men in the classroom to pass off. the internalization of such power dynamics is taking us back. We focus on empowering girls but then how about empowering their communities first, the Eco-systems have clusters of patriarchy that still impede transformative empowerment....
